The Path to becoming a Film and Television Director
Oneworld Hanxin College was honored to invite director Ang Yee Sien to our campus to share her over 20 years of experience in the film and television industry with students in the Department of Broadcasting, Television and Film.From discovering her passion for visual creation as a student, to directing numerous dramas and television programs, including *The Most Unforgettable Holiday*, *Happy Reunion*, and *Cooking Life*,
and then standing on the podium as a lecturer in the Department of Film at a Korean university—
She shared her personal journey, showing students that the path to becoming a director is never a straight line,
but a journey of continuous choices, accumulation, and progress.
In this sharing session, she not only discussed creation and the industry,
but also the choices, struggles, growth, and perseverance,
allowing students to truly see—the real and multifaceted professional life behind film and television production.
